I was just curious, how I go about checking my own criminal records? The job I am applying for is going to check it and I just wanted to make sure that nothing was on there. I really want this job and it has been years since my little brush with the law.

Freedom of Information Act . Go to the courthouse in the county where you committed a crime or the county where you live and go to the circuit clerks office and tell them you want a copy of your arrest records
Dude, that is totally easy to do. Anyone can check their criminal records online. You need to find the state’s website where you were in trouble with the law and go to the Enforcement page or anything that has to do with law enforcement or law in general. You will probably need to go to the courthouse in that county and get it official if you actually need it for your records at home though. Check it out and see what that gets you.
