Should my credit score go down when a public record is deleted?
I had a credit score of 700 and today noticed that a public record was removed. It took my score down to 638. There are not any other changes to the report, just this being removed. I filed bankruptcy back in 2003 and had 2 other public records that were associated with the bankruptcy. One of these were removed and it took my score down. I thought my score would go up.
